We extended the simple, straightforward carpentry of our best-selling Index Collection into a versatile open console, as appropriate under a TV as it is in an entryway or against a sofa. As an alternative to the traditional closed credenza, the Index Console is perfect for putting items on display, whether you need overflow storage for books, want to keep your soundbar free and clear, or simply love looking at your ’90s VHS collection.

This jack-of-all-trades design can play a wide range of roles in your home. Originally conceived as a minimalist media console to go under the TV, the agnostic shape can go anywhere a low set of shelves is needed. We built the Index Console to stand up to anything you put it up against. Or, rather, anything you put on top of it. The hardwood frame and engineered core shelves can handle up to 500 pounds of weight, so feel free to use it as a stylish weight rack next to your Peloton — or to display your collection of crystal balls.
