The two spun metal drums of the Kettle base have a single, reversible thumbscrew connection in the middle — which allows the halves to securely nest inside of each other so a more manageable box arrives at your door. And it’s not just that it’s convenient, it’s also more efficient: a small box means less cardboard and less wasted space during shipping.
The base drum of the Kettle Coffee Table and the accompanying Kettle Side Table is actually made of two separate inverted drums, each individually spun and shaped with custom-built tools. Their primitive form is a nod to the foundational elements of architecture that received newfound appreciation during the Bauhaus and International Style movements.

The storage under the top is very convenient, and the flexibility to flip the table to choose from 2 different spaces is a great design element. It is solid and classy. Very happy with the purchase.

This table is beautiful. Unfortunately, it was too large to fit with my sectional sofa and allow the recliners to recline. I was sad that I had to return it. Measure before you order.

The Burrow Kettle Coffee Table in spun gold with the Walnut top fits in nicely with our Mustard colored accent chairs and black leather sofa. It also blends in well with the acaia wood flooring. I bought this coffee table for my son's new apartment. It goes perfectly with his Nomad sectional sofa. The height and size are just right and the modern style works well. My son was a bit concerned about the weight of the table but it comes in 2 pieces and was no problem at all.
In reality, this piece is even more attractive than the photos!
