About this piece

Banks makes a wonderful accent to a larger outdoor lounge, but it’s perfectly good on its own or in a pair, poolside or patio. It comes fully assembled, but folded up, which allows us to ship it to you (free, as always) in an easy-to-handle box, and trust us when we say the unfolding process is actually fun. The all-weather wicker seat is supported by a powder-coated steel frame, so it’s built to last, but at the end of the season it’s just as easy to fold back up and put on a shelf.

Wicker is a beautiful material, but left untreated, it won’t last more than a few seasons. Our team sourced an all-weather rope to be used for the wicker instead, preserving the classic look while also ensuring it’ll last for many years to come. Then, of course, the frame is long-lasting powder-coated steel, which is essentially bulletproof.

Banks ships fully assembled, but in a compact box. How did we achieve this trick of interdimensional manipulation? A simple hinge. The seat of the chair folds in on itself, so all you need to do when it arrives is unfold it and clip the teeth over the back bar. And at the end of the season? Fold it back up and stick it on the shelf.
