What are the dimensions of the Burrow Boxes?
Our sofas ship in compact boxes and are delivered via UPS ground. The package dimensions are as follows:
Seat Module Box: 36” x 19” 28” (42 lbs) Arms Box: 43” x 13” x 21” (30 lbs) Ottoman Box: 30” x 12” x 29” (28 lbs) Chaise Base Box: 31” x 8” x 29” (28 lbs) Chaise Cushion Box: 57” x 7” x 29” (19 lbs)
Which side of the sofa is the chaise on?
Burrow sofas are designed to be adaptable. So adaptable, in fact, that our chaise module can be set on the right or the left side of the sofa. All you need to do is flip the cushion over. The chaise cushion isn’t tufted, so that it can go on either side.
How many boxes should I expect my sofa to arrive in?
For a 1-seater - 2 boxes; For a 2-seater - 3 boxes; For a 3-seater - 4 boxes; For a 4-seater - 5 boxes. Basically one more box than the number of seats in your couch (for the arms).
Where can I find assembly instructions?

Can I buy additional legs for my sofa?
Yes, you can absolutely buy additional legs for your sofa. Please contact [email protected] to purchase.
Can I make my Nomad loveseat into two armchairs?
Yes! You can separate your current Burrow furniture to create smaller seating options. All you’ll need is an additional set of arms and the possibilities are endless!

Do you ship outside of the contiguous 48 states?
If you’re in Hawaii, you can order Burrow furniture through our partner Abode! Unfortunately, other than Hawaii, we don’t ship outside of the lower 48 states — but we’re keen on changing that as soon as we can!
Do you offer financing options?
Yes! We offer a range of financing options, from 3, 6 and 12 months ranging from 0-30% APR, through our partnership with Affirm. You can prequalify for financing before checkout via this link. Prequalifying does not affect your credit score. At checkout select "Pay monthly with Affirm" to complete your application and receive your financing rates through Affirm.
Do I pay for shipping?
Nope, shipping is free!
Help! My Burrow arrived in less than perfect condition.
Sometimes things happen that are beyond our control. If in the unlikely event, your item arrives in less than perfect condition contact us via [email protected] and we’ll make it right straight away.
How do I clean Burrow pillows and throws?
You should only spot clean our pillows and throws. Dampen a corner of a clean white cloth or thick paper towel, and dab the stained area.
How do Burrow pillows and throws hold up against pets?
Our pillows and throws are handmade, which means you should probably keep them away from sharp claws.
How long does it take to be refunded?
Refunds will be issued in the form of the original payment. Refunds will be issued within 2 weeks of the completion of Burrow’s return process. This process may take several weeks to complete.
How long will it take to receive my order?
It takes 2-3 business days for your order to be fulfilled from our manufacturer in North Carolina. Once it’s ready, we’ll have that shipped to you via UPS Ground. We currently ship to the 48 contiguous states. This takes approximately 2-5 business days.
Where are the Burrow pillows and throws made?
Our pillow covers, inserts and throws are imported from India and China. They are handmade and manufactured at fair trade certified facilities.
What are the pillows sizes?
The square pillows are 18” x 18” and the lumbar pillows are 12” x 20”
What are the size of the throws?
The throws are 40” x 70”
Do I have to be home for my sofa to be delivered?
Nope, you do not have to be home. UPS can leave the packages on your porch or in front of your house, or at the apartment building lobby if you are not home.
I'm not keen on Burrow packages being left at my door. Can I require a signature for delivery?
When placing your order, you can opt into requiring a signature for delivery. However, once you opt-in, we can’t change this.
How can I return my order?
If you don’t like your Burrow furniture within 30 days of receipt, please send us an email at [email protected] We’ll then walk you through the return process and provide you with return labels for each of the boxes. We’ll also schedule a pickup via UPS.
More information can be found on our returns page. Please note that there is a 20% fee for returns without original boxes.
Are there any limitations on Burrow accepting a return?
Returns will not be accepted if the product is damaged by the customer with scratches, stains, drilling or any other modifications.
What does modularity mean?
Modularity is the use of individually distinct functional units.
Can I expand my Nomad sofa?
Yes! You can expand your Nomad furniture with as many modules as you like! Feel free to reach out to our team at [email protected] They’ll provide the magic link to take you there!
Is Burrow’s leather scratch resistant?
At Burrow, we use a high gloss Aniline top grain leather that is not bonded or reconstituted. Top grain leather is more durable than the alternative corrected- grain leather. It’s also easier to maintain and only gets softer as it a develops a patina over time — but it still needs a bit of gentle love and care.
I ordered a sofa with chaise and got an extra cushion?
All chaise lounges come with an extra seat cushion. The seat cushion is for your sofa and gives you the ability to remove the chaise lounge and only use the sofa portion should you want to.
Can I choose what side the chaise goes on?
Great news! Our furniture is modular, and the chaise is designed with a free-standing base so that it can be moved to any part you want it to be placed on with ease.
Can I specify my delivery date?
Unfortunately, a specific delivery date cannot be chosen when you place your order. All sofa orders are shipped via UPS Ground and are delivered Monday through Friday. If you need to reschedule your delivery, please email us at [email protected] immediately so that we can intercept the package with UPS.
Can I delay my order’s ship date?
Yes! You are able to select either a ‘5 business day delay’ or a ‘10 business day delay’ option to accommodate a delivery time that better suits you.

Can I delay my order for longer than 10 days?
You can choose to delay orders up to 10 days through our website. If you would like to delay your order for more than 10 days, please email us at [email protected], prior to placing your orders, we’d be happy to assist you with the proper steps to take.
How many boxes should I expect my sofa to arrive in?
For an armchair - 2 boxes; For a loveseat - 3 boxes; For a Sofa - 4 boxes; For a King sofa - 5 boxes. Basically, one more box than the number of seats in your couch (for the arms).
If you have an ottoman, that will add another box. If you have a chaise 2 more!
Help! I spilled something on my sofa. How do I clean it?
We use durable, stain-resistant fabric, so don’t fret if you spilled a little! We recommend the following steps for cleaning our fabric.
- Remove any loose debris and blot stain.
- Blot or spray distilled water and bleach solution (ratio: 1 table spoon of bleach to every 4 cups of water) on the stain and allow the solution to soak into the fabric (if possible, place a clean towel between the fabric and foam cushion to absorb any excess moisture).
- Thoroughly rinse fabric with distilled water until clean.
- Let fabric air dry.
How do I care for my Burrow Rug?
FOR LOOSE THREADS: Our rugs are handmade which means they need a little extra care and attention. If a thread comes loose, snip it with scissors instead of pulling the thread.
FOR CLEANING: Our rugs are handmade which means they need a little extra care and attention. For cleaning and general maintenance, please do the following:
- Vacuum once or twice a week on a carpet setting, or with the beater bar off.
- Keep your rug out of direct sunlight & occasionally rotate.
- Use a high quality carpet pad to reduce friction.
- Firmly blot any spills immediately
- Don’t rub anything in!
- If absolutely necessary, you can try a mild dish soap solution.
- Don’t use any solvents or harsh cleaning agents, including products labeled “oxy.”
- Don’t use any laundry detergents.
- Serious stains should be handled by professionals
How will my coffee table arrive?
Your new coffee table will arrive in one box via UPS Ground Shipping. As soon as your order has shipped, you will be sent a tracking email where you can monitor your shipment’s progress!
Will my coffee table need tools/How long does assembly take?
Our coffee tables are easy to assemble and disassemble. They require no tools and set up should only take 10-15 minutes!
What colors do your coffee tables come in?
Our coffee tables are designed in both Oak and Walnut finishes to complement our Nomad collection.
Where are your coffee tables manufactured?
Our tables are all made in Poland, and ship from our warehouse in Pennsylvania.
Will the wood stain?
As with any hardwoods, we recommend wiping up all spills and dirt as soon as you can. However, the wood is treated with a protective stain to help fight against permanent rings and marks. If needed, you can clean the wood using a non-abrasive detergent and water. Be sure to dry thoroughly.
Are the tables ethically made / sourced?
Yes! Our coffee tables are ethically sourced without the use of child or forced labor. When choosing partners, finding manufacturers who are committed to upholding the highest standard of labor ethics is a primary concern for us.
